Book NOW for Active Future Northumberland Wraparound Care

(AFTER SCHOOL CHILDCARE OPEN TO CHILDREN IN RECEPTION to YEAR 6)

We, Active Future Northumberland are providing wraparound care for pupils at NCEA Grace Darling C of E Primary School, managed and delivered by our fantastic team who already deliver lots of activities in school and the local community.

The Active Futures Wraparound provision at Robert Stephenson Campus in Ashington, which was previously available to children attending NCEA schools in Ashington, has now been extended to include children from Newbiggin.
Here’s how the arrangement will work:


 Children will remain in school after the end of the school day and will be supervised
by a dedicated member of staff until approximately 4.00pm.
 They will then travel by WatBus, accompanied by an escort, to the Robert Stephenson
Campus in Ashington.
 Parents/carers will need to collect their child from Robert Stephenson Campus at the
end of their booked session. There is no return transport to Newbiggin.
 Places must be booked directly with Active Futures using the usual booking link.
 As before, the wraparound provision

We are providing three booking options to choose from for after school wraparound care to provide flexibility for parents and carers. The booking options are as follows;

After School (Snack Included)

  • Option 1: From school end to 5.00pm = £7.00
  • Option 2: From school end to 5.30pm = £9.00
  • Option 3: From school end to 6.00pm = £11.00

We accept Tax-Free Childcare and Childcare vouchers, simply click checkout with Poncho Pay when booking!

Advance booking is essential so we can plan staffing and food requirements, helping to ensure the highest quality provisions. To support this we kindly ask that, where possible you please make bookings by the Friday before the week required. We understand that one-off situations might occur where you may require last-minute childcare. In these instances, please check the booking link to see if we still have availability. Booking must still be complete before your child arrives for the session. For safeguarding reasons, we can’t accept any children into our childcare who aren’t booked in!
